Guy’s story doesn’t begin in Dubai but in his parents’ laundromat. Among the industrial irons, he learned at a young age what hard work truly means. Those years shaped his mindset: taking responsibility, showing discipline, and never settling for “almost good.”
Later, he built his first garage with his own hands, brick by brick. It was a period of falling, getting up, and persevering, but above all, a time when one conviction grew: if you want to achieve something, you have to create it yourself. This mindset still forms the foundation of everything Guy does today.
A chance visit to Dubai changed his life. During that first trip, he discovered a city full of energy, ambition, and opportunities. While others only saw the skyline, Guy saw future value. That same week, he purchased his first four apartments—a decision driven by vision, not luck.
His book clearly shows the impact of that choice: not everything went smoothly. One of the projects was even literally flooded due to a broken dyke.
But instead of giving up, Guy kept going, explored new projects, and learnt the market from the inside out. This laid the foundation for his expertise and marked the beginning of a vision that would later grow into Best Luxury Properties.
